Day 1, what does whimsy even mean?

Friday was a chill day. No code, just sitting with a theme I did not understand :)

Whimsy. I had to look it up, and even then it didn't click. So I did the usual trick and went through the words around it, and one of them was wish. That one I could work with.

From there it went fast, because I already knew where I wanted to end up: cosmic horror, my favourite thing to build atmosphere with. Sea, mountain, and a wish. A rock that wishes to fly, and the wish is granted by something that never explains itself.

That was the whole idea on Friday. Draft level. The monsters, the choir and the rest came later.

Three things I was sure about before writing a single line:

• it has to be horror
• it has to be dithered
• the music has to be procedural

Everything else was negotiable.
