Java
Most academic language, who doesn't know Java? Also used to develop Android apps.
I have used Java mostly while doing the degree.
Career
I quit my previous job because I needed some time to discover new technologies and try to develop some ideas. I saved money so I could be a few months only working on these projects. None of them was a big success though, but I learnt a lot in the process. I was so focused that I used to work for around 12 hours a day, 6-7 days a week (I was often top 5 in WakaTime). After all, I was working for myself, and a third party... and I was young, I guess.
Lucentia Lab (EPS Alicante)
This was my first job after finishing the degree on Computer Science
. Lucentia lab is a research group based in the University of Alicante which performs analysis to companies applying Business Intelligence technologies. My role in the company was to support the researchers: I helped them conducting the experiments and then presenting the findings using Web technologies.
This was one of my first jobs, definitely the first one in a large company. I started working for this company when I started the 4th year of my degree in Computer Science
. As you can imagine, I had a lot to learn, and this was a good opportunity for me to connect all the theory learnt in college with real-life experience. I worked as a Backend and Frontend developer.
